This quote is important to me because it's how life really works not how teachers perceive life to be. I'm often told that school
and teachers are here to prepare me for "real life". Once school ends no one is there to let me know I'll be having a test next Tuesday.
Most obstacles and challenging events in "real life" have nothing to do with school or what they teach. I do think school provides a base
foundation and I can learn a lot about myself and the way I handle problems, but in reality about 80% of the things taught in school
don't play a role in our lives after diplomas are handed out.
